Canfield Connector releases Series 8WF weld field immune position sensors, which easily fit on the smallest round, tie-rod, or extruded cylinders. The compact magnetic sensors are designed for sensing position magnetic pistons on pneumatic actuators while ignoring electro-magnetic pulses generated from AC weld fields.
The 8WF features extremely consistent repeatability, reverse polarity protection, and a wide voltage range. A high intensity LED light is standard on most models.
The Series 8WF is compatible with IS (Intrinsically Safe) barriers as well as most corrosive and washdown applications and the rugged stainless steel and nylon enclosure has an encapsulated circuit for wet environments. They operate in a temperature range from -20° to +80°C and most versions are designed to meet NEMA 4/IP 65 specifications.

Versatile Condensation Removal Timer Works with Existing Valves
Canfield Connector's Sandwich Condensation Removal Timer (CRT) makes any valve a condensate removal system. This miniature timer enables any valve with a DIN 43650 "A"/ISO 4400 EN175301-803:2000 electrical interface to operate as a compressed air system condensate removal valve. The CRT is a modular dust tight and water resistant unit that installs between an existing coil and connector and does not require any new wiring. Both the cycle rate of one minute to 45 minutes and the valve "on" time of .25 seconds to 25 seconds are easily adjustable; custom time ranges are available. LED indicator lights show power and valve status, and features a manual override switch. Canfield Connector's versatile, solid state Condensation Removal Timer works with any valve brand and retrofits on any installation.

Canfield Connector's 5F and 5J Solenoid Valve Connectors Achieve CSA® Approval
Canfield Connector anounces that its Industry Standard series 5F and 5J DIN solenoid valve connectors have been awarded to mark Canadian Standards Association approval in Canada and the United States. Virtually indestructible as well as affordable, these rugged yet flexible connectors offer a completely molded design for superior environmental integrity over field wire versions.
The 5F and 5J features include captive screw and molded in gasket with the assembly so there's nothing to lose. Low profile straight ligh or right angle configuration allow for installation in many limited space applications. The 5F and 5J connectors are available in ISO, Mini, 8mm and 9.4mm sizes, with or without indicator light, and 6' or 15' sandard wire lengths; custom wire lengths and hard usage (STO) cable are also available. Versatile Connectors Eliminate Field Wiring, Provide Rapid Installation
Youngstown, Ohio (August, 2008) - Canfield Connector’s new Series 5FFAC and 5JFAC all molded solenoid valve connectors combine the affordable 5F and 5J with their rugged round connectors in a completely molded plug and play design, providing rapid installation and eliminating the need to field wire. Both of these versatile connectors feature bi-directional indicator lights and load suppression, an ambient temperature rating of -25° to 80°C, and are environmental protection designed to IP67/NEMA 6 standards. Available in DIN sizes, to round sizes 8mm straight, 12mm straight and 90°, the low profile straight line configuration allows for installation in many limited space applications. The
durable 5FFAC and 5JFAC also are available in UL and CSA versions.

Micro Solenoid Driver Connector Saves Energy, Coils
Canfield Connector’s Series D5400 Micro Solenoid Driver (MSD) is a connector that improves performance while reducing heat buildup in solenoid valve operators. The MSD induces faster solenoid pull-in with a high input voltage then automatically reduces voltage during hold-in. This not only increases efficiency but extends solenoid life and saves energy. The MSD is available in Mini and NEMA 4 DIN 43650 Form “A:/ISO 4400, EN175301-803:2000 enclosures and can be used to replace low voltage power supplies allowing a 24 VDC solenoid valve to be operated by 120 VAC. It also enables coils to be energized for an extended period of time without burnout. The MSD is available in both fixed or adjustable versions with standard LED indicator lights and a 9 foot cable.

M5 Series Male Connectors Offer A Variety of Forms For Many Quick-Connect Applications
The M5 Male Connector Series from Canfield Connector provides a cost effective solution for a wide variety of quick-connect/disconnect interfaces for pneumatic/hydraulic valves and sensor applications. Several available forms can be integrated into other products and applied during molding, potting or epoxying processes. Others can be mounted on panels, bulkheads, sheet metal or attached to conduit connections.
Available forms include standard MINI, DIN 43650 Form A/ISO 4400, EN175301-803:2000, Sub-Micro 8mm, and 9.4mm. Several are available with 2+ or 3+ ground terminal options. All M5 Series connectors are constructed with glass fiber reinforced nylon and match perfectly with one of Canfield’s superior female connectors.

Modular FAC Series Connectors Provide Rapid Installation
Canfield Connector’s rugged FAC series modular adaptor connectors are made to conform to industry standard configurations and provide rapid installation. These solenoid connectors interface female ISO, MINI, and Sub-Mico connections to industry standard male 7/8” MINI and 12mm Micro circular connectors. They are environmental protection designed to IP 65 and NEMA 4 standards and have a temperature rating of
-25°C to +85°C. The FAC connectors are available in a variety of pre-wired circuit configurations to connect with popular multi-port electronic interconnection systems and field-bus systems. Other options include indication LED and surge suppression.

Canfield Connector's innovative 9M50 magnetic proximity switch is designed to fit the "D" shaped groove detail found in linear actuators. The switch is inserted anywhere along the actuator, rotated, and locked into place, lying flat against the cylinder housing. The fully encapsulated 9M50 is available in reed and electronic styles in either NPN or PNP. Reed versions are available in voltage ranges from 5 to 120 VAC/DC. Normally closed version are also available. Its robust design meets IP67, NEMA 6 environmental specifications and it is corrosion and washdown resistant. Standard wire lengths are 3 meter wire leads, or optional 8mm quick-connectors. Female connector mating cords are available.

Canfield Connector Introduces Low Profile Solenoid Valve Connectors that Convert Alternating to Direct Current
Boardman, Ohio – (December 2006)- Canfield Connector’s new 5FR and 5JR series of solenoid valve connectors incorporate full-wave bridge rectifiers inside fully molded connectors. Both series convert alternating current to direct current, reducing coil burnout due to valve sticking while eliminating the “hum” of alternating current. The low profile “straight-line” interface/cord configuration of the 5FR and the low profile 90° interface/cord configuration of the 5JR make these versatile connectors well suited for installation in many applications with space limitations.
Both connectors are made from rugged, flexible polyurethane and have high durability housings. The 5FR and 5JR connectors come in black standard or white transulcent which is available of lighted version. The 5FR and 5JR connectors have an IP67/NEMA 6 rating and their integrated gasket design makes it impossible to lose a gasket.
